There is amazing almond treats in one of the stores in Istanbul where I bought my Tulumba. The pieces are amazing and something I never tried before.

The pieces were made entirely from almond and the taste is similar to pralines.

I noticed them in the store shopping as bright coloured small fruit and of many in the display. They looked like candy for children.

The fruit pieces were bright coloured of bright yellows, greens, reds, and other colours. They had many fruits including lemons, limes, strawberries, quince and many other fruits not usually used.

The taste is amazing of an almond treat flavoured with fruit. You can actually taste the flavour of the fruits, of the lemons, limes and so on. You can even taste the tomato.

The texture on the candy is also amazing and the lemons and the strawberries had the best texture with the holes on the fruit that could be felt a lot.

The candy was near 467 lira per kg, and the box I bought 177 lira. I bought them at a store in Kadikoy near the square of Yasa Cd.

The candy was really interesting and something I never tried before. I like it because it was vegan, the taste amazing because of the almonds, and the flavour even more amazing with the taste of lemons, limes and oranges added.

I loved the candy a lot and I would definitely recommend it to tourists.

The area is next to water and it is filled with benches that overlook the port. You can sit and watch the water in peace.

The area is filled with many people that walk with their family and friends. I usually notice them passing when I am sitting on the bench. The air is usually filled of joy of the laughter.

I like being there a lot as it is a large pier with the nearby water. The large promenade and the benches help to make the area feel even more exciting to visit.

There is also a famous lighthouse in the area. It is an old lighthouse made out of wood. It was built in 1725. It is a monument that is usually memorable to tourists and it is often sold as a souveir in Istanbul.

The light house is in the middle of the Bosphorus in the most important part in Instanbul. It appears likely as it could have been the house to collect tolls to passing ships in the past as they passed on both sides of the lighthouse.

There are also restaurants in the district in the entire area of the board walk to the water. Many of the restaurants that I visited had the classic Turkish food, the kebabs, the borek, the Mevsim and Coban salads, and other meals that are famous in Turkey. I enjoyed my time in the restaurants a lot.

There is also a Mosque in the district, a small mosque on the side of the water overlooking the water. There are washrooms nearby with Turkish baths for feet.

I liked Uskudar a lot and would greatly recommend it to tourists.
