I had a lot of fun on the Bus tour in Barcelona.

I took the bus in both directions to explore all of Barcelona. They have two routes, the green and the red route.

The red route is beside the sea more and the green route is more through the city and visits Camp Nou the stadium.

There are two operators Barcelona Bus Turistic and Barcelona City Tour. I bought tickets with the second operator, Barcelona City Tour, online and the route was slightly different with the routes interchanged and somewhat different. They have a green and orange line and their green line runs beside the sea.

Both of the buses go the same routes and they are very similar to what I noticed. The stops are the same or similar and they visit the same locations.

The bus was amazing and the route at the beginning took me beside the beaches and near the Arc de Triomf.

The bus is really interesting. The fresh air is amazing and the routes are really interesting. The buses are double decker with the top open on the top floor. The audio guide is really interesting also and gave very many helpful hints. My audio guide was in English but there are guides in near 8 languages I think.

I began at Plaça Catalunya, my favorite square. The bus took me beside the Arc de Triomf, the El Born Exhibit, the beaches to Port Olympic, beside the Glories tower and to Sagrada Famila Cathedral. There many people left the bus and many new entered. The stop seems to be popular and there are many tourists.

The bus continued to the North to pass beside Park Guell and climbed to the stop for Mount Tibidabo. There you can see the more private and modern neighbourhood of Barcelona in the North which appears like a modern or chic neighbourhood looking onto the sea from the mountain.

The bus then descended to Avenue Diagonal and visited the popular stops near the centre of La Pedrera or Casa Mila, one of the most famous works of Gaudi, and the other houses Casa Amatler and Casa Batllo.

This was the green line of the bus.

The bus tour ended again at Plaça Catalunya and there I took a break. I love the Plaza in general. There are two large fountains and the circle in the middle of the square in amazing. There are sometimes children and pigeons and it is really interesting to sit there in the open. I took a break and rested there and decided to take the second bus.

I took the orange line for my second tour.

The line was really interesting and again began beside the Arc de Triomf and then continued on to Passeig de Colom beside the Columbus Monument. This street is one of the most famous with many government buildings with colonial architecture along the way. The street is beautiful for tourists to visit.

The bus continued the route beside the World Trade Center and onto the Jardins ode Miramar. It climbed part of the route of the Montjuic mountain and the sights were beautiful travelling beside the highway and then onto the green beautiful leaves of the trees of the mountain. We also passed through a tunnel on the way. The route continued on beside the Olympic Stadium and onto MNAC (Museum National D’ Art Catalunya), a famous landmark in Barcelona and exhibit for art, and passed beside Poble Espanyol and onto the Placa D’ Espanya.

Poble Espanyol is a beautiful tourist attraction for tourists as a miniature Spain. It is an amusement park with buildings of Spanish architecture but modelled in smaller streets and areas. Tourists can walk around and enjoy sea type buildings with blue vases on the outsides, the beautiful balconies and square of colonial Spain and many other sights to see.

The bus passed beside the main train station Sants Estació and continued onto the Camp Nou stadium, the famous stadium of Barça, FC Barcelona. It continued after along Avenue Diagonal, one of the main and modern shopping streets to again view the famous houses of La Pedrera, Casa Amatler, and Casa Batllo.

The tour ended again at Plaça Catalunya.

I loved the route a lot and I took many pictures.

Each bus ride took approximately two hours and it was really fun with the audio guide. The audio guide had a lot of helpful hints and additional information along the route.

I had a lot of fun and I really enjoyed taking pictures along the way. The pictures can be amazing from the top, from the height of the bus and are really interesting as they look down on most of the attractions.

I loved the tour and would greatly recommend it. I think it is an interesting way to know more about Barcelona and see the attractions before visiting.

The ticket I bought was for 27 euros for 24 hours.
