The Maritime Museum in Barcelona was really amazing in every way.
The museum is full of old ships, and it has one of the oldest ships on display. It is a large old ship of wood made with many oars for the many seamen.
The museum is beautiful and full of old ships in every way. There are also many other smaller wooden ships.

The museum is also full of other beautiful artifacts, of old cargo from the ships, of old negatives, ship models, and many photographs from the past of ships and the entire maritime area.
I loved the old ships the most. The large ship on display was my favorite. The side of the ship is opened and you can see inside. The inside is full of cargo of what appears as barrels of run, of cloth and many other items that were included on colonial ships in the past.
I took many pictures and it was like an adventure looking inside. It reminded me of Spanish cartoons like El Dorado. The feeling is of someone sitting in this hold with a small fire and enjoying traveling to one of the colonies. The hold had a projection of a sailor.

I also liked the oars and the large wooden blocks, and the details of the design. It appears as a galley. It is really large in size and appared close to possibly 7 meters in height and it was a large ship to look at from the bottom.

There was great detail on the ship of many statues and the entire appearance was beautiful. My favorite part was that it reminded me of the past of the colonial period of Latin America and the exciting civilizations of Aztecs and Mayans.
I also liked the smaller wooden ships. I loved the detailed craftwork of the ropes and the sailing masts.

The displays also have beautiful maritime photographs and beautiful artifacts. Old ship models with detailed woodwork amongs them.
Thery include unique boats like one Spanish boat made out of ivory. It is written that during one period, Spanish prisoners made boats from anything they could find. They made boats from ivory or similar, and including bones.

There was an entire area of the display of the past of the Spanish colonial era. Rooms of wooden cargo, of cargo wrapped in cloth, large sacks of food, and other items. The entire sections was of artifacts from the period. It also included ancient money, old Spanish crosses, old guns with long barrels and smaller weapons. There were also displays of ivory and other smaller artifacts.
There were also boxes that reminded of African dark wood. The weaving gave me a feeling of a great empire and a journey to Africa in the past. The section reminded of the period of colonial rule, and the mystery of Africa.

There were also cannons and weapons of Spanish swords and the guns used during the Spanish colonial era. The small canon type guns and also the larger guns with longer barrels. The swords are also unique with the slight curve as in the movies and were really interesting.

The museum also had pictures during the old maritime period of Spain. The pictures were similar to posters for items from the 1970’s and similar to posters used for various famous movies.
The museum also had old maps and photographs of maps. They included old books on sailing and records of sailors. The museum also had old negatives and pictures of sailing. There was many negatives of ships and sailboats and many items related to sailing.

Included in the visit was the Santa Eulalia ship in the harbour of Barcelona. I really liked my visit to the ship. The feeling of the wood and the ropes and the huge sailing masts really made me feel like I was in the past. There rope work was amazing and reminded me of the sailors in the past and their climb to the top.

I really liked the smell of the wood and the feeling of the boat as it floated in the harbour. I really would have loved to sail a boat like this or to enjoy using it. It felt amazing to be on it.
Also, I visited the hold of the boat where I could see the area for the sailors to rest. There were several small bunk beds built into the wall and the room was full of supplies. The entrance to the hold was really steep, and it was interesting entering, as it felt almost like I could fall from the steepness of the stairs.

I loved the museum a lot and it is really interesting to visit. I would greatly recommend to visit it to tourists.
