I visited the MUHBA Temple d’August today.
They are large ancient columns from the Roman empire.

The monument was absolutely amazing and I loved viewing it.
They are huge pillars that stand in a smaller indoor room that holds them. They are beautiful large columns and they look ancient. They are huge and reach high into the sky.
They are surrounded by walls that are painted in a beautiful green and with artistic windows.
Before the room, there is a beautiful staircase and arches that remind of the Spanish and Roman influenced architecture. The stairs are beautiful with beautiful details and small lines with bricks. There are also beautiful small tunnels around the around the staircase.

The room before the columns also has beautiful balconies above the staircase with modern new age artistic design and a beautiful orange wall with large tiles that remind both of wood in colour and of modern tiles of affluence.

The columns are part of the Temple of the Roman colony of Barcino that dates to the 1st century BC. It was built to worship the Roman empire and on a square with the main public buildings and on the site of the market where fresh fish from the sea would be brought from the Mediterranean. The temple would look down on the city. The project around the columns was carried out by Lluís Domènech i Montaner in the middle of the 20th century.
I took some small street to reach the columns. They are inside a small neighbourhood and a small street alleyway as it appears.
It was really nice to visit it and the visit was free. I visited today.
I would highly recommend to tourists to visit the columns. It is really beautiful.
