I went today to watch the Dancing Egg.
It was so interesting when I saw this it on barcelonasiempre.com I had not seen anything like this before.
The egg is made to dance at the top of a fountain. It spins over and over and is balanced by the fountain.
It really looks amazing and I loved it a lot and I went to see it today.
The Dancing Egg, celebration began in 1637, and it is one of the most unique traditions in Barcelona.
The Barcelona City Hall together with the Cathedral of Barcelona had decided to breathe life again as it said into the city’s oldest and most entertaining traditions, the feast of Corpus Christi, I learned from barcelonasiempre.com
The celebration incorporated and egg, water and flowers. It represents fertility, fruitfulness, and and an willingness for rebirth that comes with summer. The origin of the Dancing Egg is not exactly known but there are many theories I learned. For many it is simply a metaphor for the circle of life, a reference to time and perpetual motion.
I went to the Cathedral today and I took pictures of the rock and fountain where the egg dances and the fountain but there was no egg today.
The pictures were amazing and I tried to take pictures of the rock in detail and the fountain next to it that was also beautiful.

It was a great time for me to see the Cathedral again and the first time I went I never saw the rooftop.
I took many pictures of the Cathedral again and this time the pictures were much better than my first time.
I took pictures of the altar close up, the special part of the Cathedral for what appear for the Cardinals to sit and I took pictures of an area under the altar.

I also took pictures of all of the ancient artefacts that were in the Cathedral. The various icons and the various sculptures in the buildings. I tried to capture the courtyard, and I took many pictures of the architecture of arches of the Cathedral.

The pictures this time were much better, the contrast and the colors were exactly as I saw them, the strong rich colors and the depth. The pictures were amazing and much clearer.
I went to the top of the Cathedral and it was amazing. I had not seen anything like this before. The entire area was in the beige and the beautiful architecture from the past that I associate more during the time of Christ. The Roman architecture with the Spanish influence. It was beautiful and the architecture was really amazing with beautiful details and lines, the depth of the various areas, the arches and the design of the sculpting of the stone.

I loved the area a lot and I felt like I was in ancient times. I had seen before this type of architecture in various media, but I was amazed and I felt like I was back in time.
There is a small pathway that they built out of metal that sometimes absorbs the weight as you move across it, and it looks like a small pathway built on purpose not to damage the building and to make the trip more exciting. It is very stable but it is not a huge path. It appears in the mind sometimes related to the small bridges suspended with ropes, in the same spirit designed. I loved it a lot and it was exciting. The pathway was small and the architecture and the Cathedral was huge and encompassing the entire area around me.
I loved my experience a lot and I took a lot of pictures. There are many panoramic pictures of Barcelona you can take from the top of the Cathedral and I took many. The small beautiful streets can be seen from the top in the nearby neighbourhood and many of the buildings nearby.

I loved visiting the Cathedral and I would highly recommend it to tourists. For 10 euros, you can visit the Cathedral, the court with the Dancing Egg, the rooftop, and you can pray in the Chapel.
